The school furniture and equipment donated by Birchwood School arrived in Kanubeh in early August. Thanks to Ann and Dave and Sam for helping to load the sea container and thanks to all who donated so generously to fund the journey all the way to Kanubeh. The villagers could not believe it as they carried it all into the locked up classrooms for safe keeping. |

A Big Band Concert and Picnic in the summer of 2010. We have the Big Band but are looking for a venue (ideally grass with a covered area in case it rains). CAN ANY ONE HELP???

Charity Bike Ride: September 2009
7 brave souls turned up for our 25 mile ride along The Salterns Way from Chichester and had fun raising over £500!! Thanks to all who rode especially Nick, and Sue who came from Guildford
Charity Cricket Match: August 2009
Head to head battle saw Lavant comfortably beat the GUD team. All enjoyed themselves and generously helped to raise nearly £500 partly thanks to the fabulous tea organised by Janet and the donated barrel of excellent bitter from Arundel Brewer
Charity High Tea and Bring and Buy: July 2009
Bathed in sunshine our well attended High Tea was great fun for all and raised nearly £700 thanks to the generosity of those who came.
Six-A-Side Adult Football Tournament and Family Fun Day: July 2009
A superbly organised event raising over £2000 saw an excellent football competition and a great time for families. Thanks to Ella, Sean and friends for their hard work and enthusiasm organising the event.
Charity Ballroom Dance: July 2009
We enjoyed a successful dance which despite below average attendance and with a raffle raised over £400. Huge thanks to Tim and Maggie who helped run it and all those who attended and gave generously.
