Fundraising in the UK
Our approach to fundraising
Even though GUD is a small charity, the work that we've done so far has had an enormous impact on not only the day-to-day lives but also the future of the villagers of Kanubeh. Everybody involved with the village knows the significance of every pound coin raised in the UK. That's why all of the money donated to GUD at fundraising events goes directly to the projects and is not spent on administration or wages.
We are a small charity with few volunteers so to help us reach this target you may be interested in supporting our events or getting involved yourself! If you're going to be running, swimming, cycling, baking, singing or have some other event lined up in the near future, please take the chance to fundraise for GUD. There's a sponsorship form below to get you started. Get in touch with us to let us know how we can help you in your efforts and we'll do all we can.
The GUD Challenge
The GUD Pub Quiz last year kicked off the start of a year of monthly fundraising efforts to increase awareness of GUD and its work. The Challenge also brings into focus our commitment to substantial fundraising over the next few years. Our aim is to raise over £10,000 by October 2011 and, thanks to the efforts of all those involved in the events so far, we have already raised over £4,000!
