Virgin Giving
The charity runs on the generosity of local businesses and the money you kindly donate.
All of the money that the charity receives is used to fund the projects in upcountry Gambia: no money is spent on administration or wages.
If you'd like to donate online you can do so using our secure
Virgin
Money Giving donation page. Any amount of money you can give will be gratefully welcomed by the people of upcountry Gambia
in desperate need of support to better the situation for their family and their future.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a Government scheme that allows registered charities like GUD to reclaim tax on your donations at no extra cost to you!
If you are a UK tax payer, GUD will be able to reclaim 25p for every £1 donated online through the
Virgin
Money Giving donation page.
For other donations, simply filling in a GUD Gift Aid Declaration (below) and sending it to GUD will mean that any donations that you give today, in the future or in the last 4 years, will significantly increase in value. What's more, higher rate income tax payers will be able to claim additional tax reliefs on their tax returns.

HMRC website.
