Going forward

The villagers of Kanubeh are determined to become self-sufficient and financially independent. GUD presently funds the running costs of the nursery school but the long-term goal of both the charity and Kanubeh is that the school is run and financed by the villagers and the School Committee.

By working alongside the villagers and developing locally-run businesses, like the banana farm, the charity is supporting local economic growth and making sure that Kanubeh's development comes from within and is sustainable.
